Word came down from the boss that the software branch of our company was developing a cool new application to integrate tag clouds into iTunes. And we were tasked with creating a unique web site for this software. The requirements were simple - make a simple, yet powerful web site and integrate a good ecommerce platform into it.
The problem was that nobody in the company had any idea what the web site should look like. They couldn't even provide color palettes for the application because it was still under development. So we had to put our best foot forward and come up with something really darn cool. But not cool to the point where it makes it hard to use.
