This project involved a few key components including:
Creating a custom .NET HTTP Handler in C# that implemented the MetaWeblog API to allow blog, review, and article posting from Windows Live Writer into a SQL server. No third party libraries existed that provided the required functionality, so the MetaWeblog API implemention was developed from the ground up using the RFC for a guide.
Complete web site development from a design provided. Every page of the site make various calls to the database, and the site had to be designed to be scalable. Traffic on this site is expected to grow dramatically over the next 6 months and the site owner did not want to worry about the technology behind her site. She had enough to worry about with creating engaging content and bringing in visitors.
